Description

The document you have written or had printed deserves a binding that matches the work accomplished. Whether it is a thesis, a dissertation, or a novel, regardless of its format.

The hardcover is available in 9 fabric colors. The document can be bound new or already used, in which case a cleaning and refurbishment process is carried out beforehand.

The binding can be chosen with a rounded or square spine, with rounded or square corners. Gilding can be used to personalize the printed document (thesis, dissertation, novel) directly: initials, title, name, or date.

This service is intended for documents dating from after the 17th century; older works fall under our heritage restoration service.

Each piece is crafted by hand, in our workshop, according to expertise passed down since 1948.

Expertise

A single intention, three ways to bring it to life

WRITING - NOTEBOOKS
Blank pages to hold thoughts, moments, stories, and anything else you
wish to keep. Six hand-crafted formats to choose from.

BINDING & PRESERVING - BOOKBINDING
Giving a lasting form to existing content or preserving a cherished book.
Each project is thoughtfully custom-made.

REINTERPRETING - LIMITED EDITIONS
Unique creations, hand-crafted and numbered in limited quantities.
Each one reveals, in its own way, a fragment of the House's heritage.
Crafting today what will endure tomorrow.

Saint Luke's Hand

BUILT TO LAST.

At Saint-Luc, every creation passes through the hand.

Choosing a paper. Preparing a cover. Working with a fabric. Binding. Gilding. Assembling. Restoring. Precise movements where material, time, and experience are of importance.

Personalization is not conceived as an accumulation of options, but as a composition: finding the right format, material, and finishes for what the object is intended to become.

A standard of excellence that runs through our Notebooks, Bookbinding, and Limited Editions. Shaping today what may remain tomorrow.
